    Gemmune I.B. is an immunobiotic derived from Lactobacillus plantarum HKL-137, a heat-killed, stabilised strain, standardised for its high content of Lipoteichoic Acid (LTA).


    When LTA binds to the toll-like receptor (TLR2), it initiates a signalling cascade that activates a significant immune response (Figure 2).
